Hi there! I‘m Ufuoma. I’m a chemistry graduate turned banker and I love, love, love fragrances. Whether they are from soaps, perfumes, oils or food. If they are pleasant to my senses then they are pleasant to me! My mother introduced me to this interesting art and she still makes a gleeful sound whenever she gets a new perfume, fragrant body wash or cream to this day!
As a child I would sit at her dressing table and try out her perfumes, body sprays and even deodorants. I particularly remember one of her perfumes that I thought was ‘choking’, White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor. Guess my nose was too young to appreciate musk way back then. I’d love to share my fragrance experiences with you and hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I enjoy writing them. I am open to any questions and/ or contributions.
Lolita Lempicka, a bouquet of ‘gourmand oriental scents‘ captured in a bottle shaped after the forbidden fruit- perhaps to portray its seductiveness. It’s hard to believe that this scent is exactly two decades old!
Crafted from floral notes like Ivy, Violet, Iris (to mention a few) wrapped in a sweet mixture of Licorice, Cherry and Vanilla with a hint of white musk, one can only imagine that this French seductress was birthed by the countryside in a field of flowers on one dark, starry night; a doe and her fawn standing at a distance.
This fragrance has a balanced sweetness that makes it modern and youthful. Its whiff beckoning the girl next door to reveal her provocative side.
The understated sexy tones of Lolita makes her a great compliment for day or night time. She is beyond ideal for the savvy, upwardly mobile professional/business woman; the passionate romantic with a calm exterior or the lady who simply doesn‘t do LOUD.
Lolita is a delectable piece of art that I encourage you to indulge in, so please go ahead and indulge your senses..
